IAPSO Status

Effective 1 January 2008, UNDP and UNOPS have consolidated the business operations of UNDP/IAPSO in order to strengthen the procurement capacities of the UN system.

UNOPS has assumed IAPSO's operations of UNWebbuy and United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) websites and services.

UNDP continues to offer procurement training courses. To access UNDP's procurement training calendar and to register for classes, go to: http://www.undp.org/procurement/training.shtml

UNDP will retain and provide, through its Procurement Support Office (PSO), more limited global procurement services to UNDP country offices in support of UNDP programmes.
